Latest Updates from Our Project:

More Cards Unlocked, I Want It All Going Fast, and a Look at Munchkin Spell Skool!
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Jul 09, 2018 at 09:15:33 PM

You've defeated another round of stretch goals and added more cards to the Munchkin Unicorns and Friends tuckbox. And, thanks to your support, both of the Facebook share goals are unlocked! Better still, that Twitter stretch goal is about to fall; please retweet this post to unlock two more cards!

I Want It All

As of this writing, only 34 slots remain for those of you who want the I Want It All reward. Once the last of the I Want It All rewards are taken, that will be it for that reward; we don't have enough games to open more slots. Fortunately, the $26, $32, and $36 reward slots (each with a different game) still have some openings, so even if you miss out on the I Want It All reward, there are more options to choose a complete Munchkin game to pair with the Munchkin Unicorns and Friends mini-expansion.

Munchkin Spell Skool

By far the most popular of the three games we're offering as part of this Kickstarter project, Munchkin Spell Skool was originally exclusive to Walgreens and was only recently opened to wider release. This is a smaller Munchkin game, designed for three or four players, and features fabulous artwork by Katie Cook, making the game a perfect fit with Katie's unicorn cards found in Munchkin Unicorns and Friends.

To learn more about the game, please check out Andrew's designer's notes article. You can find Munchkin Spell Skool at your local game store, Warehouse 23, or, as you already know, in the $26 and $60 reward levels in this Kickstarter project.

More to come!

We have over a week to go before this Munchkin Unicorns and Friends Kickstarter project closes, so please keep your eyes on the updates for more info and, just maybe, a few more surprises. And, as always, we would love to hear from you. Please feel free to comment here, engage with others at the official Munchkin forums, and like us on Facebook so that you get all of the latest Munchkin news.

Thanks, gang!

Bonus: Dungeons Box Added!
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Jul 09, 2018 at 05:30:22 PM

Not a stretch goal!

We've heard your cries for more, and we're happy to announce that the Munchkin Unicorns and Friends Boxes of Holding -- automatically included in the $18 and $60 rewards and available as an $8 add-on item -- will include a box to transport your dungeons cards! For those of you who have been looking for a way to carry your Munchkin 6 and Munchkin 6.5 cards, this is the tool you need!

To learn about the dungeons, please see Steve's designer's notes article

Add-On?

If you're new to Kickstarter, you may be asking: "How do I add items to my pledge?" Easy! All you have to do is select the manage button on the Kickstarter page and then add however many dollars are needed to cover the cost of your extra goodies. At the moment, we're offering two add-on items -- a second Munchkin Unicorns and Friends tuckbox and the Munchkin Unicorns Boxes of Holding -- and in the BackerKit survey, you will have the chance to tell us how you want to spend the add-on dollars that you pledged to the project.

If you have any questions or need any assistance in adding an item or two to your rewards, please feel free to ask, and we'll do the best we can to help you out!

Bonus: Moop's Monster Mashup Added to $60 I Want It All!
almost 6 years ago – Sun, Jul 08, 2018 at 04:02:53 PM

Not a stretch goal!

Thank you to XainMexi for the recommendation that we add Moop to the project. We couldn't quite do as asked, but we did find a way to add Moop's Monster Mashup -- a $24.95 stand-alone Munchkin game -- to the $60 reward level . . . at no extra charge to backers!

Additionally, we have created the $32 Unicorn Mashup reward for those of you who would like to blend Munchkin Unicorns and Friends with Moop's Monster Mashup. Only 200 of this reward level are available, and we will not be adding more; our supply of the first edition of Moop's Monster Mashup is running pretty low these days.

NOTE: A mistake was made and has been corrected. The $32 reward level does not include the Munchkin Unicorns and Friends storage boxes.

As always, thanks for your continued support and encouragement! We're growing closer to unlocking the next stretch goal and adding another four cards to Munchkin Unicorns and Friends, and we may have another surprise to reveal next week . . . just gotta make sure the numbers work! (We hear you like boxes for your dungeons.)

Five More Cards Unlocked and a look at Munchkin Magical Mess, Illustrated by Ian McGinty!
almost 6 years ago – Fri, Jul 06, 2018 at 04:07:21 PM

Since our last update, your support has unlocked another five cards and pushed Munchkin Unicorns and Friends to a total of 51 cards in the box. That's a lot of wackiness to jam into one tiny tuckbox!!! And with the 250 shares Facebook goal defeated, we've added a new Facebook goal: Let's hit 400 shares of this post and unlock a new promo card by Ian McGinty!

Munchkin Magical Mess

Speaking of Ian McGinty's amazing artwork, let's take a quick look at one of the Munchkin core sets that he illustrated: Munchkin Magical Mess! A stand-alone game, Munchkin Magical Mess would make a perfect title to combine with Munchkin Unicorns and Friends because we know that mischevious mage Moop would love nothing more than to twist cows, unicorns, and the undead to his malicious machinations.

As a stand-alone set, Munchkin Magical Mess has everything that you need for a Munchkin game . . . but we also made sure to use the original Munchkin card backs so that you can mix these cards in with the Munchkin game and several different expansions. And best of all, for those of you who want to see more of Moop, we've also got a second stand-alone set illustrated by Ian: Moop's Monster Mashup!

To learn all about Munchkin Magical Mess and Moop's Monster Mashup, and how Steve and Andrew came to assemble these awesful puns into two hilarious games, please read their designers' notes article here

Both Munchkin Magical Mess and Moop's Monster Mashup are available right now at your favorite local game store. Online, you can find both games at the official Steve Jackson Games store, Warehouse 23

Three More Stretch Goals Unlocked, Over 1,000 Backers, and We Hear You Like Dungeons
almost 6 years ago – Fri, Jul 06, 2018 at 05:03:39 AM

As of this morning, a total of nine stretch goals have been unlocked, adding 13 game cards and two promo cards to the project. And, at the current rate, it looks like the next stretch goal is about to fall . . . not to mention that we're very close to breaking the Facebook shares goal. Your killing it, gang!

Now that we're over 1,000 strong, knocking out the Facebook and Twitter goals should be no problem at all. Please click those links and share so that we can add those cards to the box and really make this a hefty set of fun.

You Like Dungeons?

When we planned out the Munchkin Unicorns Boxes of Holding for this project, we thought that many of you would be interested in just the door and treasure boxes. Well, it turns out that some of you also want to see a dungeons box. The question is, though, how many of you want to see a dungeons box added to that Munchkin Unicorns Boxes of Holding package? Comment and let us know! We're investigating options, and the more you want that extra box, the harder we'll try to make it happen.

Thanks for the continued support, everyone! It's your demand for more Munchkin that is making the Munchkin Unicorns and Friends mini-expansion better for all of the project backers. As a team, we'll keep knocking down those stretch goals and packing new cards into the box.
