Munchkin Unicorns and Friends includes 60 cards adding unicorns, cows, and more undead to any Munchkin game! It also has 13 Munchkin promo cards: seven are reprints and six are new in this set!

How did we do?
Now that the project is coming to a close, this is a good time for us to ask you: How did we do with the Munchkin Unicorns and Friends campaign. We plan to bring more projects to Kickstarter (this is where I remind you that theGirl Genius campaign closes today), and we want to learn from this experience and improve our communications and project management. If you have any likes, dislikes, or suggestions, please let us know! We can only get better with your help.

Unicorns Shipping Update

Our fulfillment partner continues to pick, pack, and ship rewards, working as quickly as they can to complete the shipping process. This morning, this photo from the warehouse landed in my hands, and I knew that many of you would enjoy a peek at the fulfillment process.

By using BackerKit, we were able to allow you to customize your rewards, making the fulfillment process slightly more complicated (but nothing that the warehouse cannot handle; they ship thousands of packages every week).
If all goes well, the last of the rewards will leave the fulfillment center before December. International rewards will have to take the long journey and may require another month or two to wind themselves through the system and reach your door; we will post an update when we have more info on the international rewards.
Munchkin Steampunk: Girl Genius Final Days
At the moment, we're down to the last few days for theMunchkin Steampunk: Girl Genius campaign on Kickstarter. All stretch goals have been unlocked, the project has completed all internal checks, and we're on track to deliver the game as estimated (maybe, if we get lucky, a little ahead of the estimated date).

Darryll has been working closely with our fulfillment warehouse in an attempt to ship all of the rewards as quickly as possible. Boxes are being packed and mailed, and there's a chance that some of you in the U.S. will see your rewards before the end of this month (which would put delivery at slightly ahead of our original estimate). Please post here and let us know when you receive your package!

This 112-card expansion brings dinosaurs into the dungeon . . . because we could. The Unicorns Have Landed!

Great news! We received notice that the Munchkin Unicorns and Friends container reached the fulfillment warehouse yesterday afternoon, and now the team will start packing and mailing your rewards. It may take two or three weeks to process everything (the holidays next week slow things down a tad), but we'll be back here and post an update once the last of the rewards have shipped.
International backers. Please note that the Michigan warehouse will pack your rewards and then ship them to consolidators for the larger journey. Your rewards will go to a different destination in the U.S., and then, on a schedule we do not control, will forward to our fulfillment partners in the UK and Canada. When we have more details on the delivery schedule, we will post an update.
Munchkin Steampunk: Girl Genius
The Girl Genius expansion closes on Kickstarter next week and has almost unlocked all of the stretch goals. There are still about 50 slots of the $80 reward level (which includes the Munchkin Steampunk Deluxe game) available, so even if you do not already have Munchkin Steampunk, there's a chance to get the core game as well as this new expansion.

Now that we're getting closer to the container landing at the fulfillment warehouse, we can report on the exact day that Unicorns will be in the warehouse: November 13! That means we're now less than a week out from when the fulfillment warehouse will start preparing to ship Unicorns. At the moment, we still look on track to ship rewards for December delivery to U.S. backers.
Delivery to international backers, unfortunately, may slide into January. We're at the mercy of shipping schedules and will do all we can to turn the rewards around quickly, but there's a chance that our international fulfillment partners won't be able to deliver the rewards until after the holidays. This is a frustration, we understand, but we are doing the best we can and will keep you updated as we get more info.
We're using this experience to revise how we handle estimated delivery dates on international rewards for future Kickstarter projects. Munchkin Steampunk: Girl Genius, for example, already includes information stating that international rewards are expected to deliver one month after U.S. rewards. We promise you: We are learning and improving.

In Girl Genius news, the project is now one week old and has already unlocked over a dozen stretch goals. Project supporters have added more cards to the set, as well as unlocked a new Kill-O-Meter and two level counters for all reward levels of $20 and higher.
